Some Interesting Takeaways

  • Scientists and lab technicians top the list as the heaviest coffee drinkers. This could be attributed to the long hours and high concentration levels required in their work.
  • Healthcare administrators, physicians, and nurses all make the list. This may mean that the higher-stress, fast-paced, long-shift healthcare environment drives the need for coffee to keep energy high.
  • Even though the majority of Americans drink coffee at work, only 46% claim they are less productive without coffee. Maybe a little denial?
  • Most workers who drink coffee drink at least two cups per day.
  • The region of the U.S. that drinks the most coffee at work is the Northeast. Does anyone have ideas why?
  • Why are Judges, Attorneys, and Hotel Workers the most likely to take their coffee black?
