At-work coffee consumption is rising, according to National Coffee Drinking Trends data

It also shows which professions are most likely to take their coffee black, which ones are most likely to take cream and sugar, and a few other interesting coffee and job-related statistics.

- Healthcare administrators, physicians, and nurses all make the list. This may mean that the higher-stress, fast-paced, long-shift healthcare environment drives the need for coffee to keep energy high.
- Even though the majority of Americans drink coffee at work, only 46% claim they are less productive without coffee. Maybe a little denial?
- Most workers who drink coffee drink at least two cups per day.
